The second annual Spooktacular Fun Run/Walk held on Oct. 23, 2017 was well attended and is turning into a fun family event for young and old. Plans are well underway for the 2018 Fun Run.

Congratulations to Donna Shand and Teresa Cunningham, winners of the two, grand prize gift baskets in the Barrington & Area Chamber of Commerce Shop Locally for Christmas 2017 campaign.

The Chamber would like to thank all the local merchants who contributed to this year’s campaign by making donations to the gift baskets and hosting ballot buckets.

Hats off to the girls at MCT Insurance in Barrington Passage, who were once again at the finish line of the Nova Scotia Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K, providing refreshments to the runners.
